CLASSIFICATION OF SHIPPING MARKS
The shipping mark is divided into positive mark (also known as main mark) and side mark, which can be consistent or inconsistent.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SHIPPING MARKS
If the shipping mark of the full container is not important, N/M can be displayed directly without the shipping mark, but the invoice and packing list must show the shipping mark to facilitate the buyer to distinguish the goods.
1.In case of LCL or general cargo ship shipment, the shipping mark is as important as the ID card and must be accurate.
2.Both the customs declaration form and the customs clearance information must be filled in the same header must be consistent with the shipping mark on the outer package of the goods, only consistent, single goods consistent. Otherwise, it is difficult to distinguish and identify the goods, and it is easy to get confused and make mistakes.
▲Once encountered customs inspection, it will greatly reduce the efficiency of inspection, and may also affect the transportation time of goods. It may affect the progress of unpacking and dividing the goods, and affect a series of problems such as the buyer's delivery.
THE ROLE OF SHIPPING MARKS IN THE PORT OF DEPARTURE
At the customs declaration stage, customers should provide customs declaration materials with correct shipping marks. Sometimes, because the link of the freight forwarder document brushing the manifest may be painted into N/M, although the customs declaration does not look at the shipping mark, it is not important to remind the freight forwarder that it is best to brush the manifest according to the customer information. In case of customs inspection, complete declaration information and packing details can improve inspection efficiency. When the customer provides the bill of lading information, please be sure to provide the correct shipping mark, so as to avoid the subsequent customer's trouble in customs clearance and delivery at the port of destination.
THE SHIPPING MARK PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN THE UNPACKING AND DIVIDING OF GOODS AT THE PORT OF DESTINATION
The agent of the port of destination unboxes and divides the goods according to the shipping mark on the bill of lading. If the shipping mark of the single goods is inconsistent or inaccurate, the goods will not be timely and accurately distributed to the consignee, which will affect the customer's delivery time.
