The dual carbon goal has become a widespread consensus, and the electrification of ships is expected to
achieve zero carbon emissions throughout the entire process, gradually becoming the star of tomorrow for
inland river green ships. Last year, the world's first 700-TEU pure electric container ship was successfully built, ranking first in the world in terms of number of
containers, load capacity, and battery capacity. It will start its maiden voyage in Shanghai this year. In order to allow it to sail smoothly, a green shipping
corridor is being laid out in major ports on the Yangtze River, and the entire green shipping industry chain is also being accelerated.

Viewed from the air, this big guy is currently the world's largest battery-powered container ship, with a loading
capacity of nearly 700 TEUs. Unlike ordinary container ships, this ship has three rows of green boxes at the
stern. These marine box power supplies can help ships achieve zero-carbon green navigation. According to professionals, ships using power battery
propulsion can not only avoid the emission of atmospheric pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides produced by fuel combustion, but also have no
risk of salty sewage discharge. In fact, China's electric ships have developed rapidly in recent years, but they are concentrated in small ships with a capacity of 1,000 to 3,000 tons, making it difficult to transport across provinces. The interview of this electric container ship provides an example for the industry to break through barriers. In the future, it will depart from Shanghai Yangshan Guandong Terminal and be put into the Yangtze River shipping from Shanghai to Jiangsu.

Gao Shihan, general manager of the strategic development department of Green Water Xinhang Technology
Co., Ltd., revealed that the company hopes to use Yangshan Port as the first port to drive the green transformation of the shipping industry in the entire
Yangtze River and even inland rivers and coastal waters in the future.

The green transformation of shipping depends on the energy supplement of electric equipment. At present,
Shanghai Yangshan Port has laid out a charging and swapping hub station. After the electric ship berths, the box battery can be replaced by hoisting.

At the charging station at Longtan Wharf in Nanjing Port, there are 25 box spaces. Eight box batteries are
charged at the same time. The charging of all box batteries can be completed in ten hours at the fastest.
Under normal circumstances, its battery life can reach More than 500km.

According to the plan, the 700-TEU pure electric container ship will dock at Shanghai Yangshan Guandong
Terminal, Nantong Tonghai Terminal and Nanjing Longtan Terminal for charging and replacing box-type power
supplies. Starting from the Yangtze River Estuary, a charging and swapping network covering major ports and waters across the country is also being laid out.
In the future, with the improvement of battery storage technology and the reduction of costs, pure electricity is expected to be applied to ships with larger sizes
and longer sailing distances.

Zhang Linlong, deputy general manager of Green Singapore Airlines Technology Co., Ltd., said that the
company focuses on building Yangshan Port in Shanghai into a core hub port. The next step will also
promote the electric shuttle bus from Taicang to Yangshan in Shanghai Port to realize the construction of a green shipping corridor. .

In recent years, ship fuel power is developing in the direction of diversification, cleanliness, and low
carbonization, and Shanghai is also actively exploring green methanol refueling for international shipping
ships. At the beginning of this month, the Lingang New Area Green Shipping Industry Alliance was officially established, with a full industry chain layout
covering raw material preparation, technical solutions, certification and evaluation. The relevant person in charge of the Lingang New Area Management
Committee said that they want to provide a variety of application scenarios for the filling of green methanol.
Currently, SIPG and Maersk have signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation on the Shanghai Port ship methanol fuel project. Strive to complete the first
filling business within the year.
