Nairobi, Kenya — August 19, 2025 — Winsail International Logistics Co., Ltd. took part in the JCtrans Kenya Business Visit 2025, where CEO Kofi joined logistics leaders from across the globe to explore strategic cooperation and on-ground logistics opportunities in East Africa.
The delegation visited the Nairobi Compact Free Trade Zone (CFTZ), a key logistics hub bridging port and inland transport, marking a significant milestone in strengthening China–Africa trade connectivity.
1. A Strategic Visit to Strengthen China–East Africa Connectivity
As part of the JCtrans Global Freight Forwarders’ Business Delegation, Winsail’s CEO participated in a series of roundtable meetings and field inspections in Nairobi.
The event brought together freight forwarders, trade-zone administrators, and e-commerce logistics operators to foster new business collaboration and accelerate regional logistics development.
During the visit, the delegation toured CFTZ Nairobi, which integrates bonded warehousing, re-export, and value-added logistics services. The facility plays a crucial role in connecting Mombasa Port, Naivasha ICD, and inland markets across Uganda, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

2. On-Site Presentation and Industry Dialogue
At the JCtrans Business Meeting held on August 19, 2025, Winsail CEO Kofi delivered a keynote presentation titled “One-Stop Export Logistics from China Ports to the Middle East & East Africa.”

He shared Winsail’s capabilities in multi-port consolidation, door-to-door DDP/DAP delivery, and specialized cargo handling — particularly for machinery, auto parts, and project cargo destined for African markets.
The session inspired active discussion among Kenyan forwarders and trade-zone operators regarding bonded transit efficiency, compliance optimization, and digital milestone tracking within the regional logistics ecosystem.
3. Field Visit to Mombasa Port
Following the conference, Winsail’s CEO and logistics team visited Mombasa Port, the primary maritime gateway for Kenya and neighboring East African countries. The team observed container-unloading operations, multimodal transfers, and bonded cargo management at the port.
This field visit offered firsthand insights into the China-to-Mombasa shipping routes, port infrastructure, and customs clearance processes that support regional trade. It also strengthened Winsail’s cooperation network in East Africa, enhancing efficiency for clients shipping goods from China to Mombasa and beyond.

4. Building a Trusted Global Freight Network
The JCtrans Kenya Business Visit not only enhanced mutual understanding between Chinese and African logistics firms but also underscored JCtrans’s role as a trusted platform for global freight cooperation.
As a verified JCtrans member, Winsail is committed to service transparency, shipment visibility, and on-time communication, ensuring reliability for international shippers.
“East Africa is one of Winsail’s most promising trade corridors,” said Kofi, CEO of Winsail Logistics. “Through collaboration with Nairobi’s CFTZ and local partners, we aim to deliver faster, more reliable, and fully compliant China–to–Africa logistics solutions.”
5. Looking Ahead
Winsail plans to expand its East Africa operations by introducing CFTZ-enabled re-packing services, optimizing FCL and LCL freight from all major Chinese ports, and establishing a local support team in Nairobi for DDP and time-critical shipments.
